Happy Birthday, Newboy!

Newboy’s birthday was today, he turned 9. We always have little parties for the horses on their birthdays, complete with party hats. Newboy hasn’t been with us very long, so he was not really sure about the hat business.

Luckily, Jack is always down to wear a hat, so he wore the party hat instead.

Newboy was not amused.

“Pfthbthbthb.”

He still got a good curry and a bunch of treats, even if he wouldn’t wear his special birthday hat.

“I’m not wearing that hat.”

We’ll continue to work on the hat wearing. Derby Day is only two months away and hats are required attire for my annual Derby party.
